Grantmaking Process


Grassy Creek Foundation's grantmaking is currently limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofits located in the United States, or organizations with 501(c)(3) chapters in the United States. 

Full Proposals are by invitation only

Grant proposals are by invitation only. However, 501(c)(3) nonprofits working in the Foundation's key programming areas interested in applying for support are welcome to submit a brief Grant Applicant Questionnaire outlining their organization and any proposed projects. Grant Applicant Questionnaires will be reviewed by the Program Director twice yearly. The deadlines are January 1 and July 1 of each year.

If it is determined that an applicant may be a suitable candidate for support, the Foundation will issue an Invitation to Submit Grant Proposal. Invited grant proposals are due April 1 or October 1. Grant proposals submitted by April 1 will be considered and decided by July 1. Proposals submitted by the October 1 deadline will be considered and decided by December 31.
